I love illustrating magic in all its forms, and sometimes one of the most magical things in life is a quiet moment of friendship.
With this piece, I wanted to capture that kind of everyday magic, the feeling of being fully present with someone, suspended in a moment that feels carefree and joyful. I also wanted the illustration to evoke the sense of freedom that belongs so strongly to childhood summers, when the days seem endless and every hour feels full of adventure.
